Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month Kicks Off Soon

Greetings from the ACC! We would like to invite you to join us in celebrating the 2023 Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month.  From informal discussions, art exhibitions, cultural performances, short film screenings, bystander workshop, to public lectures by speakers including Coach Rosalind Chou and the legendary artist and activist, George Takei, this month has something for everyone.

Welcome to the Asian Culture Center

Based on the Bloomington campus of Indiana University, the Asian Culture Center (ACC) aims to promote awareness, understanding, and acceptance of Asian American and Pacific Islander cultures, history, and issues as an integral part of the fabric of American life in the United States.

The ACC, a program of the Office of the Vice President for Diversity, Equity, and Multicultural Affairs, accomplishes this through advocacy, institutional resources, cultural and educational support, and community outreach activities that promote participation and dialogue with students, faculty, staff, and residents of Indiana.

One does not have to be of Asian or Pacific Islander heritage to be involved with the ACC. Everyone is welcome.
