The Asian Pacific American Faculty and Staff Council is an association of faculty and staff that helps create and foster a community within the IU Bloomington campus. The staff council is open to all IUB faculty and staff who are interested in providing a nurturing and supportive work environment and opportunities to make connections and enhance personal and professional growth.

Goals of the APAFSC
The APAFSC's goals are:
- To foster fellowship with other Asian Pacific American faculty and staff across all IUB schools and campuses of Indiana University through programs.
- To work with university administrators, faculty, and staff members to promote the professional development of Asian Pacific American academic communities.
- To serve as mentors to students of Indiana University Bloomington.
- To advocate for an equitable and just resolutions to issues affecting Asian Pacific American communities at IU Bloomington.
